Suzanne enjoys painting landscapes that are instantly recognisable but modern and striking in design. The stripes are painted freehand on canvas using acrylics or Farrow and Ball paints which are a great eco friendly alternative. She is self taught due to a genuine love of experimenting with paints and techniques.
Painting stripes can be intense work and so sometimes like to paint freestyle.
Having grown up in the seventies, she loves anything retro and has also painted portraits in a pop art style in acrylic and gouache.
